About Qadira
Qadira Jackson proudly lives in Scarborough Southwest and her family has been strongly rooted in Scarborough for over 40 years. Before becoming a lawyer, she worked with children as a social worker in a variety of settings including at elementary schools.
In addition to her law practice, Qadira co-founded a consulting firm called Blink Equity and has sat on many boards including the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers, the Canadian Association of Urban Financial Professionals, the Parish Council at her local church, and served as a Councillor on the Professional Engineers Ontario’s regulatory body.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her spouse and two young boys, sewing, fashion design, DIY projects, and speaking at events to inspire youth.
Qadira attended York University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Social Work Degree, and a postgraduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution. She graduated from law school at the University of Windsor.
When I talk to our neighbours, I hear the same thing. Life is unaffordable, our hospitals are strained, and it feels like no one is listening. I’m asking for your vote to hire more family doctors, reduce ER wait times, deliver smaller class sizes, and make life more affordable. Qadira Jackson
